On October 10th I had my very first bridal shower. I must say the night before felt like Christmas to me :) The shower was kitchen theme. All attendee's brought their best wishes as well as a recipe card which was given before the shower so that they could share their favorite recipe with me. I am not much of a cook. But I know how to follow recipe's and make a lot of pre made stuff :)
I knew I would receive presents and feel love by many family members and friends but I could have never predicted the outcome of my amazing shower. If you know me then you know that I am a bit of a control freak. I like to know what is going on, food, drinks, decor, games and all the things that go into planning a shower. I think I called my sister a million times to make sure everything was good. I think she might have enjoyed my controlling side because this is her first bridal shower she has ever been in charge of.
The shower was nice and relaxing filled with many many many presents so it actually was more exciting than christmas. I think I have everything to set up my kitchen minus a few little items. But for the most part I have all the essentials plus a little more. I was very thankful for all the people who attended the shower and for all the amazing gifts that were given. I am blessed beyond belief to have such a loving family and friends.
