I should be sleeping...

I have a huge paper due at the end of this week, then i have finals, then I'm moving into my apartment with the girls, then I'm going on a "business" trip to Vegas with transparent and as I recall one of my co-workers saying "I'm not even going to go to sleep while we are in Vegas." (he is referring to all the business that we will be taking care of while we are over there ;) So needless to say I should be resting up...

but I have been doing some thinking about the "wedding cake." This is one of the things that we haven't picked out...I keep going back and forth on what i want to do. Cakes are so expensive and I really do not have a desire to spend $700 dollars on a cake...so i have found an alternative which I am so excited about.

Me and Adam are not necessarily doing all the traditional things in the wedding such as I wont be walking down the isle to "here comes the bride" and i am not going to be wearing a veil over my face as i walk down the isle. While these things are beautiful and lovely in any wedding I want our wedding to be an expression of who we are and show our personality in it.


So with out further or due the inspiration for our wedding cake:


So we will have the bride and groom cake which we will cut together and feed each other but then the rest will be glorious cupcakes which we will be homemade by whoever I recruit to help me...so basically my mom, aunts, and bridesmaids. I think that it is the perfect spin on the traditional cake that me and Adam are looking for.
