New York: Concrete Jungle...

"When your in New York, concrete jungle where dreams are made of..." is how Jay-Z and Alicia Keys describe New York in their popular song and yes, I was singing the song to Adam the whole time while we were in New York...

This past week me and Adam visited his family in New Jersey. We had a great time spending time with everyone. One of the perks of Adam's family living in New Jersey is that they are only a hop and a skip away from New York...

During one of the days we ventured into the concrete jungle and had a wonderful time frolicking around the city.

Let me just say..I LOVE NEW YORK. I love the atmosphere, the busyness, the food, shows, desserts, and so much more. I love that you can walk everywhere! It is one of the those cities that I swoon over but I know that feeling would be gone if I lived close or in the city so I am happy visiting every 2 or so years..But I am also happy to announce that twice I was mistaken for a native :)

While in New York Adam and I must have walked over 70 blocks in one day! We enjoyed pizza that was a big as are heads, walked around times square, visited the Museum of Natural History and even saw the broadway show "Promises, Promises" with Sean Hayes and Kristin Chenoweth. It was such a cute and fun show.

All in all we enjoyed family, friends, and the city :)

Here are some pictures from our trip

trying to look stupid
