Valentines Day

I've never been a huge fan of Valentines Day. I use it as an excuse to get some flowers and get to spend some time with my love, but other than that I have never been one that has to do something elaborate.

Since this was the first year as husband and wife, I thought back to our first valentines day together. We were both 17 years old and had been dating for about four months. Adam recently had been in trouble with his parents but as luck would have it he was able to take me out to dinner. Seeing how it was valentines day all the restaurants were packed and back in those days we had curfews ;) so we went to the first restaurant and the wait was too long, so we tried another but the wait was again too long, so we ended up at a little mexican place. There was no wait and we basically had the whole place to ourselves. I would have never thought that he would end up being my valentine forever.

Every year since our first valentines day we have stuck to low key celebrations because we don't need glitz and glam to celebrate our love all we need is some quality time together.
