Wedding Update

Last Saturday I went down to LA fabric district with my mom, my sister and maid of honor Megan, my "other" mom Lori, my bridesmaid and cousin Rachel, and my Aunt Kelly to get some fabric for the runners that will be made to put on the tables. I knew what I wanted going into Saturday but still encountered some problems. We found the fabric I liked in the first store but after the realization that the table cloths are white the fabric for the runners would not work. After hours of looking for another fabric we decided to embellish the tables and make a black table topper and then go with the original fabric for the runners.

We also found the fabric to make the flower girl dress that my kind Aunt Kelly has volunteered herself to do. It is going to be a cute polka dot dress. Flower girl dresses are so expensive and I didn't want my Aunt Steph to pay more than 50 bucks for the flower girl dress. So we were able to make the dress for under 30 dollars.


After what seemed like forever we started to look for some other items. Along the way i found my veil. I hate the price of veils and I wanted a very very simple veil because my dress has a lot of detail i did not want a veil to cover it.


I also found my hair piece for the ceremony. I love it and the best part was it was super cheap!

But my best find of the day would have to be the tree branches. I have been searching everywhere for these branches and the cheapest I could find them were for 20 to 25 dollars a branch which is not cheap when you 5 of them. I went into this little shop and they had millions of them! I was in Heaven. The best part was that they were only 9 dollars! WOO HOO! I was so excited. After we found the branches we found all the crystals to hang from them.
So after all what seemed like a forever day we found some great items!
